يحتفل ملايين المسيحيين الأرثوذكس حول العالم بـ"سبت النور"، الذي خلاله يتم استقبال "النار المقدسة" في المكان الذي دفن فيه المسيح.

سبوتنيك. ووثقت معجزة "النار المقدس" لأول مرة عام 1106 ميلادي.

ويتابع ظهور "النار المقدسة" يوم "سبت النور" في كنيسة القيامة بالقدس العديد من دول العالم، كما تقوم هذه الدول بإرسال رحلات جوية خصيصا لإحضار هذا النور بهدف أخذ البركة، وتقام احتفالات حاشدة لاستقبالها.

ويشاهد حفل ظهور "النار المقدسة" مباشرة في جورجيا واليونان وروسيا وروسيا البيضاء ورومانيا وأوكرانيا وبلغاريا وقبرص ولبنان وحتى مصر. ويتم إحضار الشعلة المقدسة إلى روسيا وروسيا البيضاء وأوكرانيا واليونان وقبرص وبلغاريا ورومانيا وصربيا ومقدونيا والجبل الأسود وسوريا والأردن ولبنان في رحلات جوية خاصة وسط احتفال يحضره كبار رجال الدولة والرؤساء.

ويحتفل المسيحيون بيوم "سبت النور" أو بما يسمى أيضا "سبت الفرح" أو "السبت الأسود"، الذي يأتي بعد الجمعة العظيمة وقبل أحد القيامة أو عيد الفصح، لإحياء ذكرى يوم السبت الذي قضاه السيد المسيح في قبره، بعد موته مصلوبا.

وتعتبر كنيسة القيامة أقدم الكنائس المسيحية والأكثر أهمية في العالم المسيحي وتحتوي الكنيسة وفق معتقدات المسيحيين على المكان الذي دفن فيه المسيح واسمه "القبر المقدس"، الذي منه تخرج النار المقدسة كل عام بغض النظر عن أن تاريخ الاحتفال يتغير كل عام.

وظهرت أول كتابة عن انبثاق النور المقدس في كنيسة القيامة في أوائل القرن الرابع، حيث وجدت في مؤلفات القديس يوحنا الدمشقي والقديس غريغوريوس النيصي، أن الرسول بطرس رأى النور المقدس في كنيسة القيامة، بعد قيامة المسيح، سنة 34 للميلاد.

وتظهر النار المقدسة التي لا تحرق لمدة 10 دقائق يوم "سبت النور"، ويدخل بطريرك أورشليم وحده إلى قبر السيد المسيح بعد أن جرى فحصه جيدا من قبل السلطات الإسرائيلية للتأكد من أنه لا يحمل أي مادة أو وسيلة لإشعال النار كما يتم فحص القبر أيضًا، هذا الفحص كان يتم سابقا على يد العثمانيين حيث كان جنودهم يتولون مهمة فحص البطريرك قبل دخوله إلى القبر.

ويحضر المصلون الحدث مرددين "كيرياليسون"، وتعني باليونانية "يا رب أرحم"، ثم بعد ذلك تنزل النار المقدسة على 33 شمعة بيضاء في رزمة واحدة، تدل الشعلة على أن المسيح قام وهزم الموت، وهذه النار لا تصيب أحد بأذى فيصورون الحاضرين أنفسهم وهم يقربون النار على وجوههم وأياديهم عالمين بأنها لن تصيبهم بأذى.

وعادة يكون لون النار أزرق ولكن قد يتغير بعد ذلك ويتخذ أشكالًا وألوانًا مختلفة وفي بعض الأحيان يغطي النور الحجر، مكان موضع المسيح فقط، بينما في أحيان أخرى يغطي الضوء الغرفة كلها.

ويذكر أنه في صباح يوم "سبت النور" وقبل مراسم خروج النور المقدس من قبر السيد المسيح، يتم فحص القبر والتأكد من عدم وجود أي سبب بشري لهذه المعجزة، يبدأ الفحص مدة ساعة كاملة تقريبًا على يد رجال الشرطة الإسرائيلية، وبعد التأكد من خلو القبر المقدس من أية مادة، يتم وضع ختم من العسل الممزوج بالشمع على باب القبر.

وبعدما استولى المسلمون على القدس، في سنة 1187 تحت قيادة صلاح الدين الأيوبي قرر في هذه السنة أن يحضر احتفال المسيحيين بعيد القيامة، وذهب إلى الكنيسة يوم "سبت النور"، وبحسب جاوتير فينيسوف: "عند وصول صلاح الدين الأيوبي، نزلت النار من السماء وأضاءت شموع الكنيسة، وبدأ مساعدوه في التحرك من الخوف، وابتدأ المسيحيون في تمجيد الله، وأمسك صلاح الدين شمعة اشتعلت من النار التي نزلت من السماء، وحاول اطفاءها مرّات عدّة لتعود وتشتعل من جديد، وتكرر ذلك أكثر من مرة حتى تأكد أنها معجزة".
